i hate to break it to you fren but i live in norcal and it is about as oppressively hot :(

 

...reasons why I will never live south of Oregon on the west coast i guess u_u

 

i live in a basement which means i can escape the heat
live near lake superior in a basement and you too can enjoy Lake, Snow, Uhhhhh,

edit: we also have strange donut like pastries, four or five downtowns, racism,

 

see my problems are as follows:

• i genuinely love most things about california, it's just overpriced and the summers are too long and too hot
• the animation industry is largely based in los angeles so realistically i'll likely be moving there one day if i get work in the biz

so alas...i must stay. and unfortunately i am just. so aggressively californian tbh (FOR EXAMPLE: i feel like the phrase "dude, that's hella bitchin" is something i would say completely unironically)

anyway despite my intentions to move to la and BETRAY MY TRUE HERITAGE, norcal best cal

 

Visit Washington more, we're east of the Cascades so our rain is REASONABLE unlike those coast dwellers

 

this is very true but i have been to spokane in the summer and it is Also Too Hot

...i think my real point here is that summer sucks
