one of the most awkward things about being a true crime junkie is the fact that dee dee blanchard named her daughter a fuckin ethnic slur

 

LIKE OKAY, i am someone who really does not feel comfortable using slurs i cannot reclaim. this is normally not an issue because frankly there’s really no reason to use ‘em the VAST majority of the time. but then you get someone deciding a slur against romani folks would make a cute name for her daughter and THEN she munchausens the fuck out of said daughter AND THEN said daughter kills her and it becomes a major true crime thing. and here i am wondering HOW THE FUCK i am supposed to refer to this person lmao

Thanks for luck wishes! I think it went really well and I’m super hopeful…it’s in a nice and fairly central area with easy access to public transit (and transit passes for all residents fuck yeah), and the vast majority of my irl friends live on that side of the hill so it’ll be nice to be able to socialize more easily. Plus more job opportunities than my podunk current area haha…

I should clarify that I don’t have any like, allergy to adhesive or whatever, it was just stuck on there PARTICULARLY well this time

 

BUT ON THE PLUS SIDE the phlebotomist found a vein on the first try (which NEVER happens with me, my veins have always been Difficult), and my mom and I got breakfast crunchwraps at Taco Bell on our way home as per Important Family Tradition, and also therapy was good and productive today? So it’s been a decent day overall but my point vis a vis fasting blood draws stands, thank you for coming to my TED Talk
