• rose = vampire
• pearl = prooooooooobably fae of some sort? haven't decided on the specifics
• amethyst = werewolf
• garnet = idk honestly, thinking some sort of frankensteinian thing that her scientist moms made bc they couldn't have bio-kids but i'm not sure?
• lapis = water nymph
• peridot = normie human with no magic powers of any sort

basically it's garbage pearlrose where pearl gets kind of super addicted to rose feeding on her

also garnet, amethyst, and pearl are roommates and ame and pearl are exes

(and amethyst is more of a werepuppy, she's super non-intimidating in wolf form and mostly just digs through the neighbors' garbage for scraps)
