i still cannot believe how fucking good hit the diamond is

like, it’s hilarious and adorable and gay, and it introduces some GREAT new characters, and the writing is just...top-notch

like i could legitimately make an argument for it being one of the semi-objective best episodes of the series, right up there with a single pale rose, and plenty of people HAVE made that argument—yeah, it’s not all Serious And Emotional, but it’s brilliantly written and plot-critical and just plain incredibly enjoyable, and sometimes that’s just what an episode needs to be one of the absolute best episodes of a show

 

my mom is still asleep (she likes to sleep late when she doesn’t have obligations, and it’s mothers’ day so she deserves even more extra shuteye!) but i’m so excited for her mothers’ day gifts! i got her a connie funko (desk buddy!) and my dad got her some sugar-free chocolate c:

extremely fair point, and at least the drought is over now (FUCKING FINALLY)...but the problem now is that we don’t actually need more rain and there are concerns about landslides :/ but yeah, WAYYYY better than being on fire!
