MY DAD LOVED HIS FATHERS DAY GIFT :D

 

i wish i tanned evenly (or didn't tan at all, either or) instead of looking like a Weird Blotchy Mess all summer

it doesn't help that i'm naturally pretty fair-skinned--i got my mom's very, uh...irish skintone but my dad's tendency to tan rather than burn--but i tan pretty dark, like, p much to an olive, but i don't tan evenly, there are parts of my arms that are deeply tanned and parts that are blindingly white and it looks AWFUL ;-;

at least i also get Cute Freckles

 

i'm irish on my mom's side and german on my dad's

so basically i'm just Very White

 

being able to Actually Wear Sunglasses And Not Be Fucking Blind is so good...i didn’t know i needed them but they’re rly cutting down on headaches from bright sunlight!!

 

my sis says that discovering sunglasses as an Always Tool seriously changed how well they coped with sensory issues, like, all the time!

 

I don’t think they’re an Always Necessity for me (I mostly suspect I’m just very slightly photosensitive, which might explain why I’ve had perpetually massive pupils my whole life but I digress—tl;dr I think it’s more Weird Physical Bullshit than it is a sensory thing for me), but I plan to keep ‘em in my purse! I spend a fair amount of time out on the deck when the weather is nice, so it’s nice to have them then as well. c:
