relatedly women’s pants sizes really do depend on the phase of the moon and the whims of the gods huh

i wear anywhere between a 16 and a 20 depending on the brand and cut

This is why I have largely given up on pants, tbh. I own... One pair of jeans. Two pairs of shorts. And various stretchy leg coverings. Also skirts.

Not just the pants, i have shirts in M and shirts in XL that have the exact same fit

Hell i have a pair of pjs that is still in kid sites (~168) that fits looser than the XL shirt. The only change i made to it over the years was that i put a new elastic into the pants as the old one got crumbly.

    It's insane

legit my biggest issue with therapy is that i cannot wear eye makeup there bc i often end up crying and i don’t wanna look like a clown

    ALAS

at least i can still wear lipstick and cute clothes

and it’s not like i’m not ALLOWED to wear eye makeup, that’d be really weird, i just don’t bc it looks stupid when my eyeliner is running down my cheeks and that is a VERY REAL RISK sooooo

  14. Have you tried googling “eyeliner for people who cry a lot”

Honestly every waterproof eyeliner I've tried hasn't stood up to tears? Or sweat, actually. I wonder if it's because of the salt in tears and sweat?

EDIT: And after googling exactly what you suggested just to see if maybe there's something I haven't tried and can afford that might work, I've encountered a few eyeliners I've used that are just...not actually cry-proof at all. And the others all seem to be super fancy expensive brands, which I can only buy very rarely. :(

I’m trying the fancy mascara I bought the other day, since it’s implied to be tear-proof. We shall see!

depending on what the issue is, often movement/rubbing is much more destructive than just getting tears/sweat on it?
I have in fact despite myself mastered the debutante -fans at eyes and prissily dabs at tears with only the fingertips without rubbing- art of not destroying my makeup mostly for larp and cosplay.
But I also don't like sweat much so idk.

Sadly, I have hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating p much) and I cry like a baby, so the sweat aspect is very much a problem for me—I’ve sweated off meticulously-sealed paint before. :/
