For the telephone game, ideally you would only see the most recent one, right? So maybe it should go by PM - organized in a thread, but with people sending their picture to the next person by PM...?
Oho. Do a round, pm everybody when everyone participating has taken a turn, and then have everyone post the pictures?
How I've seen it done is that the collab is organised by one person, who keeps track of who needs what when. Probably they draw the first picture -- they then send it to Person 2, and Person 2 redraws it and sends the redraw back to Person 1. Person 1 then sends Person 2's drawing to Person 3, who redraws it and sends it back to Person 1. Et cetera. This sounds confusing, but I think would possibly work better than having each person be in charge of sending a picture off to the next person, because if one person totally flakes, there's an organiser who can figure out what needs to be done (poke the person having issues, sending the last known image to the person after the one having issues, whatever). In general, having one person keep track of the event is less prone to game-breaking disruptions than letting everyone keep track of themselves.
We could always just put the pictures under spoiler cuts, and put the name of who's supposed to look at it in the spoiler's title. Ask everybody to just not look at them all until we finish the game. That way we don't need anybody to do a lot of work in organizing it.
side convo: who here wants to just do a simple collab with me, not a telephone one? One or two people, perhaps over thanksgiving :OO I don't mind doing lines or color or sketch or what have you, I just wanna do this and get it rollingggg

This is potentially troubling for me because I have the board set to show spoilered text when I hover over it, so if I accidentally scroll down with my cursor in the wrong place, I'll see things I oughtn't That said, linking to the picture hosted elsewhere wouldn't be a problem

homestuck is rad, i don't do a lot of scifi things so i'd be interested! i'm still learning how to peoples so i'm uncomfortable with machinery and still iffy on bg ability... but i can do sketches or colors!
Would anyone be down for a 3 person pokemon collab? Basically we all do our own sketch, then pm that to the next person in line, everyone does lineart for the sketch they got, then that's pm'd to the last person and we all do colours for it? Like a round robin sort of thing, then we'll have 9 different pics to compare at the end. It's fun!
I adore all these things, but am scared as fuck abbout trying to draw for other people as good as you all @-@
