So I've been making a character and do you think stuff like wandless magic is more prioritized?
Or that generally there are non-wand magic channels available?

 

I would like wandless magic to be prioritized.

 

I made a character, by the way, if any of y'all are still interested.

Name: Benn Peartree

Age: 16

Grade: Third year (10th grade)

Gender: (trans) Male

Height: 5’11”

Hair: Shaggy dark brown hair to his shoulders, with scattered blonde highlights.

Eyes: Blue and brown (concentric circles) with flecks of yellow. He wears thick blue plastic glasses.

Skin: Pale and kind of freckly around his face.

Magic Channel: Is studying wandless magic, although he isn’t very good at it yet as he’s only a 10th grader. Mostly uses an old family wand, which works well enough but not perfectly. It’s not broken or anything, just not exactly his fit.

Affinities: He’s best in Charms, Arithmancy and Transfiguration. Sorta okay at Potions. Average at DADA. Passable at everything else, really. Fascinated by history of magic and history of languages.

Personality: Sort of bad at talking but sometimes won’t shut up. Will show people whatever he’s recently learned incessantly, is kind of obsessed with magical creatures, spell creation, and brooms. Enjoys popping out of various entrances to pocket dimensions to freak people out.

Name: Rowan Gale Brady, goes by middle name (Gale)
Age: 15
Grade: third year (10th grade)
Gender: agender, dfab
Height: 4'10"
Hair: long, about elbow-length, nearly white (it's not dyed, they are an albino), very thin, and usually in a braid
Eyes: pale grey, and they wear sunglasses nearly all the time, as they are very photosensitive, and actually have photophobia (direct sunlight causes them actual physical pain in their eyes, while indoor lights merely cause mild discomfort)
Skin: extremely pale, nearly paper-white (very prone to sunburn)
Magic Channel: also studying wandless magic, are relatively proficient with it because they started very young working on it (was homeschooled until this past year). they have a wand, which is blue spruce with a unicorn hair core.
Affinities: they're best in Potions, Herbology, and DADA, with their DADA work being their best. they love languages, but fail miserably in any history class because they can't remember dates for shit. their Charms and Transfiguration work is passable, but their Arithmancy needs serious work. they have dyscalculia and ADHD.
Personality: they're generally quiet, and rarely speak to strangers, but if you get them around friends or become their friend, they chatter endlessly and never shut up; they'll infodump about their current special interest if you ask even one question about it, and you'll end up listening for an hour, probably past the point that you even cared. it's hard for them to make friends because they struggle with social things and communication, and don't read faces very well, and are in fact usually nonverbal around strangers, because they get so anxious they shut down. they know sign language for times they go nonverbal, but only their family really seems to know any sign language, so it's not come in handy around school. they are easily upset and don't take bullying well. they're very protective of friends and family and it doesn't take much to get their hackles up; throw an insult the way of a friend and you'll have a curse coming your way before you even know what's hit you. (still figuring out the rest of their personality)
Notes: they have chronic fatigue syndrome, and are nearly always complaining of needing a nap. they also have autism, anxiety, and STPD, which means they're on the schizophrenia spectrum.
