It's one of those things that's kind of perpetually on hold, sadly, but. Somehow I wound up with Alma, Lavi, and Miranda for main characters. It works somehow. ((Really I think Alma and Lavi would get along great. They both have that kind of "mild class clown outside, actually a bundle of cynicism inside" thing going on, at least the way I play/interpret what Alma would be like as an adult.))
Ah well. I have stuff like that. Sounds interesting, though :) (ooh, I can see that. and now I wanna find some fic or something.)
Ah! I absolutely need to write Alma as part of the OT5 OT6 (nea. I am nea/allen trash) AU where everyone is happy and hooking up and nothing bad is allowed to happen EVER.
Do the thing. Seriously, do the thing. (i approve of nea/allen. as previously mentioned, i am multishipping trash.)
After I come back from LARP in two weeks I'll start plotting the fluff-feast because I really need some poly-pile happy times in this fandom <3
My lil bro is currently watching the anime So I'm at approximately episode 70 or something rn watching alongside him sporadically for my favorite scenes. All of Allen's big speeches at the Asia Branch give me shivers along my back x3 Though more in the Manga, than in the Anime, the Manga just has superior pacing for them. Also I forgot how incredibly great Pho's/Fou's japanese voice actress is. Her performance is truly one of the highlights of the otherwise kind of mediocre anime adaptation.
Made it to chap 100. I'm probably gonna end up rewatching the anime, cause I'm trying to get my friend R into it and it's easier for him to watch the anime, I think.
Well the anime has the benefits common to anime, but I'm just mildly displeased with some of the decision regarding execution with the anime, including making Cross more of an unreasonable dick than he already was? It's unnecessary and kind of kills the suspension of disbelieve when it comes to other characters genuinely liking Cross. Also some of the pacing was murdered-by-filler, but again, common problem of anime. (Also I like watching the art-evolution happen, but that's just me, and I remember rage-quitting the manga once over a chapter being particularly different-and-erratic to the point of making a fight VERY hard to follow. Can't remember which one though and it might have just caught me on a bad day for processing.)
Yeah, the Cross thing bugs me. Filler is a major problem in every anime, seriously. (Was that the Kanda vs Skinn fight? Cause I just reread that, and that one bugged me.)
I think it might have been one even later? I really can't remember but I think it was after the Ark Arc.
Huh. You're probably going to remember at some random time, like, OH YEAH THAT'S RIGHT :can't get to a computer:
I liked the anime. Some of the filler was tedious, but I also enjoyed some of it. I watched it with my siblings, so they probably remember a bunch of it, too.
I watched it with my best friend. We were having a sleepover and decided to watch a random anime. And immediatlely were hooked and stayed up the whole night.
It's really fun. That's what we end up doing at most sleepovers. That or play videogames. We once stayed up too late playing Animal Crossing and decided that the best thing to do was chop down every single tree in the game.
yeah i think objectively the anime isn't bad, I'm just sort of bitter that it stopped where it stopped :P
I'm not sure where it stopped; when I realized I was further along in the manga than existed in the anime, I stopped watching it. But I was pretty far along in the manga, so.
