Love That Burns Fleetwood Mac Twelve Bar Blues Band The best version (Fleetwood Mac featuring Rick Vito) doesn't seem to be available online :(
the guitar soars nicely the volume of the drums and guitar screws with the balance a little in that drifty part around 2:10 but i think it's working for me
Warnings for volume and nails on chalkboard kinds of feelings. He talks somewhat quietly at the start, describing how the instrument works, and then goes into it. It's a strange but fascinating sound.
x3 swirl combob bringing you a combob song i am very fond of dj earworm stuff. there's something really comforting about the familiar sound bites merging in and out of each other
the shit songs derail in the kiwi thread led to a shit song war with my boyfriend and now i have this stuck in my head
Turns out Dream Police came out today in 1979, so tonight's a Cheap Trick night. I really need to listen to them more...
https://petrels.bandcamp.com/album/onkalo petrels has a new album coming out soon and i'm super excited oh boy, this dude is one of my all time favorite artists. relistening to everything he has ever put out. let me try to sell you on petrels here i think 'drone' is the closest i can get in one word but really his music is just these amazingly creative and diverse long form electronic/classical sound collages, fuck i don't even know how to describe it his first album is a concept album about a british diver, william walker, who spent five years working six hours a day in pitch blackness (sediment in the water) shoring up the foundations of a cathedral that was sinking into a bog his second album, onkalo, is named for a spent nuclear fuel repository currently under construction in finland, which has been designed to safely contain nuclear waste for over 100,000 years. the album uses the passage of time, the decline of the optimism of the atomic age, and retro-futurism as its themes and so on much in that vein, ridiculously high concept stuff. constantly something different and ridiculous and amazing with this guy. if that sounds even a little interesting to you check it out his music means so much to me
