The Accidents of Gesture by Rome, from their 2009 album Flowers From Exile. The album's theme is the Spanish Civil War in the 1930s. Rome tends to do that, themed albums about a conflict from the points of view of those who fought. There's a French Resistance in WW2 album, a Rhodesian Bush War album, and others.
I have a personal preference for Wincing the Night Away, but, well, that's kind of because it was 1. the first Shins album i heard 2. one of the albums responsible for getting me interested in music in the first place so uh, i guess it's natural that i'm a little biased. basically all their albums are excellent though
I haven't really listened to that one but Spotify made me listen to today and I! love! it!!! so I guess I have to check it out now
Leonard Cohen & Sharon Robinson - In My Secret Life. This is one of my most favorite tunes by Leonard. It is not a great capture, but it has the lyrics. Get the original if you can - it is soooo awesome. Rest In Peace, Leonard.
The best comments on this video are the angry idiots who don't realize that this is the original and not the MLP video posted three years later. Good job, internet credit machine.
