this is one of my all-time favorites with the added benefit of being able to tell your family that you listen to a band called Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.
@Lizardlicks yeah they're Southern Gothic, whcih tends to be heavier on twang than hard bass and the darkest thing they sing about is alcohol and demons :p
I actually like a lot of the instrumental backing of Linkin Park tracks, it's just that the lyrics tend to be a bit...well. Anyway, I'm not entirely sure this is actually any better:
I have listened to this at least once a day for the the last week, I love it so. Also, I officially predict that Miley Cyrus is going to go The Full Country(TM) someday and it's going to be amazing. Record a murder ballad Miley! Record an album of murder ballads! You can be edgy and be The Full Country(TM)! Probably be edgier, tbh
A quiet, hopeful and melancholy bit of 80's Brazilian synthpop, which I found myself trying to recall as I dwelled on Feels about the year that's passed. Spoiler: translated lyrics The seasons changed Nothing changed But I know somethign happened Everything is just so different Do you remember when we Even believed, one day That everything was forever Not knowing That forever always ends But nothing's gonna take away What's remained When I think about someone, I think about you And then we're alright Even with so many reasons To leave everything as it is Neither giving up nor trying By now it doesn't matter We're coming back home...
been spinning this on repeat basically nonstop lately. these guys did another good album much along the same lines under a different name back in '12 and i had no idea what they'd been up to since then until now
