I discovered 8tracks and ended up on the SCARY MURDER GIRLS section. And I love it. http://8tracks.com/hpaws/femme-fatale
Apparently this is supposed to be about vampires? idk http://8tracks.com/faewinds/my-song-knows-what-you-did-in-the-dark
I am currently listening to http://8tracks.com/macerwin/how-do-they-rise-up which is a soundtrack to the People's Revolution of the Glorious 25th of May. It's interesting - mellow for a revolution, but you can picture Sam Vimes standing in the rain while it plays in the background, and Flogging Molly is on there, and Flogging Molly could be the hometown band of Ankh Morpork.
Chants D'auvergne! I grew up with this music so it's really got a lot of nostalgic feelings attached to it.
spotify ads got me hooked on this. lyrics arent anything to write home about but the beat is pretty comforting
not particularly lyric-heavy, just joel zimmerman screaming 'fuck' every so often, which still makes me giggle because i am twelve using it as inspiration for three different things: 1. karkat in general 2. drone season fill 3. karkat-or-mituna aphasia-tourette's while(1<2) fill
There was a time I wanted to become a professional classical guitarist, and I specifically wanted to be this guy: Now listening to it with a lot of fondness and nostalgia. I should pick up my guitar again.
