After a little research, activated charcoal can be used as a teeth whitener. It’s also slightly abrasive to the enamel in your teeth in larger chunks. Idk how finely the charcoal was ground in this pizza, is a sentence i never expected to say, but a slice or two probably wouldn’t do any meaningful damage
iirc, wouldn't the activated charcoal absorb medications from your bloodstream, or would the effects be pretty negligible because of the baking process?
Activated charcoal will absorb the medication from your digestive tract and stop it from getting to your blood stream, but once it’s in the blood there’s not much charcoal can do. And I doubt baking at 350 is going to do much to affect carbon powder
my thoughts were more on the other elements of baking, the leaveners and other chemicals in the bread dough could alter its effectiveness, and the heat from baking might help it absorb some compounds from the bread.
