The directors have at least jokingly confirmed the possibility of hybrids. Bunnies and foxes don’t have ethical debates in real life either, so I think it’s fair game. What I find unrealistic about that comic is...Judy and Nick cannot have been the first predator and prey in history to get it on. Like, if a rabbit can conceive from a fox entirely by accident, you gotta believe that that’s already happened before
