A bus stop! I was starting at that trying to work out wtf I was looking at. The conclusion I had drawn was tiny seat directly in front of a window where someone could uncomfortably sit and be stated at by some homeowners
My friend, who lives in a place with much more comprehensive public transit and also in another country, had to explain the bus stop thing to me. And then explain that the seat is divided up like that to prevent people from being able to lie down comfortably. So pretty much a homeless person deterrent, as if they were a nuisance akin to pigeons. So now it's exponentially more cursed in my eyes.
Yeah, i think copperbadges comment that made me view it as cursed was like, wow its a bench designed to be as uncomfortable as possible, made to look like a comfy couch, because uhh fuck wanting a nice place to sit?
