Ok, so My dad's cat is fat. Like, really darn fat. Fat enough that she cannot clean her own butt, so dad has to give her baths every week or so Conclusion: wet kitty (She's actually pretty ok with it- it's not her favorite thing in the world but she tolerates it, and she gets some wet food after soooo)
oh my god teeny snek When I worked at a zoo, one of the things I did was go down with one of the reptile keepers to where they had this teeeeny eyelash viper baby snakelet in quarantine (until it was big enough to go into the exhibit proper) so I could stand by the snakebite alarm while she changed its water and prodded desperately around for fecal samples (I don't think she ever found any when I was there). Spiders continue to be cute but give me a chill of atavistic fear. Here is the one living under my bedside table. Her name is Vivienne. Spoiler: 8 legged denizen of chaos
The Work Cat made a pile of smaller Work Cats over the weekend. (where was the Work Cat while I was taking this picture? Rubbing her face all over the side of my head.)
Not my pet, but I can confirm that I have had these little buggers before and they make the cutest sounds in the known universe. Second only to kitten noises:
my cats are small & strange creatures (when they run around they make more noise than our 100 lb+ dog while weighing as much as his head alone) Spoiler: i'm not kidding they're strange & this is photographic proof the great fortress of cattitude supercat contemplates life in the fortress.png this box was in our house for <20 seconds before this happened (i think she approves) my mum was eating supper and it called them like tiny hellbeasts from the pits of our basement sugar has a thing for dishwashers + bonus large dog trying to sleep Spoiler: he is named sampson & he is very strong

Ok, cute animals, not mine, but one day (probably far future when I actually have my own place + a yard for it) I will own my own. MINI PIGS. All taken from this breeder's FB page + website. I love spotted pigs and white saddles. And tricolour (black/tan/white) in general. All pigs are cute.
