My friend runs a low-pressure low-commitment orchestra at my uni for the people who want to play but don't want to commit/compete for chairs in the symphony orchestra. I went to their first concert yesterday and they played Crown Imperial, of course, and it was not very good but I loved every second.
Hahaha. I've had convos in the past few days with MULTIPLE DISTINCT people that included the exchange A: "Something something Don Giovanni-" B: "donnn gioVAAAAAHneeeee!" It really kills the flow of the conversation.
on a scale of "che gelida manina" to "ohime! che gelo e questo mai?" whose doom does the coldness of your hand signify
[thread revival get] i will periodically post in here every time i discover a new piece i joined my uni's orchestra bc it's low commitment and im so happy i did, i missed playing in an ensemble
