GODDAMN MIRRORS GODDAMN QUNARI GODDAMN EGG YOU ARE DAMN RIGHT I HAVE QUESTIONS YOU BALD MOTHERFUCKER I KNEW THAT AN ALLIANCE WITH THE QUNARI WOULDN'T MEAN SHIT THE MOMENT THEY DECIDED THE INQUISITOR WAS A THREAT TO THEIR NEAT AND ORDERLY IDEA OF THE WORLD
Haaa man I just. can't. *rolls around on ground* It sounds like everyone is pissed with the Inquisition, and especially the Inquisitor. What did they do - be too competent? Big, competent, and with Corypheus gone, a large standing army - that might be enough. I'm not looking forward to suffering through those Nutcracker uniforms, though. :') Thinking I may dust off my first character and play through it first with her, and then with my favorite character once mods are working with it. (Oh Bioware, why red and fucking blue???)
Yeah... I've seen a nice mod with white and blue, which is a nice demonstration of wealth. Though I wish we had more options. Like dresses. Because Moat of my fem quizzies would've wearing dresses. (I really like dresses okay >.>) But it seems like the mark is still Spreading ?? So many angst possibilities! Eta: phone typos
Aw, no, the nutcracker uniforms are fucking adorable, dude. I got like legit dokis seeing Josie in that thing. My Cadash wore a black and silver version for so long, dude, he looked dapper as fuck.
I don't mind the uniforms as such - uniforms make sense, and their shape is nice - but the color scheme? That I have a L O T of problems with. All of my Inquisitors have different uniforms now (these are currently my favorites - so many options, and really show off what the uniforms COULD have been, not that primary color bullshit).
I would kill for a dress option. Don't get me wrong, I was thrilled to have a NON dress option, but I wanted to be able to choose! I wanted Morrigan's dress, damn it!
It might be a long time before dress options are possible via modding, but I know of one interesting outfit replacer for female elves that gives them the keeper robes instead, and is used in conjunction with the invisible formal wear mod (which only makes your Inquisitor's formal outfit invisible but keeps the companions' the same).
Yeah, I saw that just now as I was scrolling through the mods. Man, Nexus has added so much more since the last time I came by... *A*
The modding scene has gotten a lot bigger as the modding tools have become more refined and easier to use. :D If this next DLC is the last one - which it probably is - that likely means soon the tool makers won't have to continually work around new patch releases, which tends to speed up tool development.
Mmm. Yeah. Keeper robes would be perfect for Ren. I also really like the formal dress, and I like that non dresses are an option for everyone. Uggggggh. I can't wait for thisssss
OKAY SO I just watched the livestream of the Dragon Age panel at PAX and beside the DLC trailer they revealed two things that will come with the next patch: The Golden Nug, a statue in Skyhold that, when you interact with it with a post-game save, uploads all your collections (shards, mosaics, schematics) to a cloud save - and then all your other characters on the same platform, present and future, also get a Golden Nug and get those items. After that, it works both ways - anything new you get with any character will apply across characters. It’s very nearly the new game plus we’ve been wanting. A WARDROBE IN SKYHOLD WITH SKYHOLD SPECIFIC OUTFITS. NO MORE BEIGE PAJAMAS, CONSOLE PLAYERS. NO MORE BEIGE PAJAMAS. As far as Trespasser goes, Laidlaw said that in it the Qunari are actually really truly invading. It isn’t a fringe group, it’s the real deal, and we learn what they’ve been up to since Kirkwall. SO. HYPE.
OH SHIT, that's fucking sweeeeet, I've been wanting to learn more about what the hell is up with the Qunari. And this means more Qunari characters, too! Maybe lady Qunaris?? That'd be nice, I think.
FUCK. YES. I wonder if how you did Bull's personal quest will effect him in the DLC? Like if you sided with the Qunari, will he leave you? What about if he Romanced the Inquisitor?
That video appears to be on private now, so: Also YESS QUNARI I WANT TO LEARN ALL THE QUNARI THINGS YES. Fuck I hope Bull will be okay. Man, Qunari-sided Bull having to leave a romanced Quiz is :'( And fUCKING SOLAS I AM GOING TO STRANGLE THIS EGG BUDDY YOU BETTER TELL THE TRUTH THE WHOLE TRUTH AND NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH SO HELP ME GOD I should probably play the other 2 DLCs now oops.
ALSO I WANNA KNOW IF THERES SOME MENTION OF THE WARDEN BECAUSE SHE'LL HAVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR THE CURE FOR TWO YEARS AND THEN. WHAT ABOUT MERRILL WILL MY BELOVED WIFE COME BACK TO MY ARMS. WHY IS FERELDEN ANGRY WITH THE INQUISITION ALISTAIR SIT THE FUCK DOWN
Since it doesn't seem like I will stop perseverating on DA any time soon - have wee done Warden/Hawke/Inquisitor picture sharing yet? Because I LOVE showing off my pokemons I mean characters, and want to see others' as well if they're up to it. :D Here's my current favorite Inquisitor, Embriel, making Corypheus bluescreen. It's funny, I didn't intend for him to become my favorite, he was just supposed to be a quick playthrough - his worldstate I made in the keep with characters I probably wouldn't play (sorry, diplomatic!Hawke, but you bore me), he made a lot of decisions based on whim or spite and, despite being very pro-mage and anti-chantry, ended up with Cassandra as Divine - but he's ended up being my completionist character and the one I've written fic for.
Picture Sharing! I only have a the one picture because playing of a PS3 makes it hard to take screenshots. Here's Renwyn, my precious child. She's a bit oblivious, as she's heard voices and whispers ever since she was a little girl. Nevertheless, she loves her found family, especially Cullen and her fellow inquisitor and moirail, Lysander Trevelyan. She is playful and silly, especially when she and Lysander are together. But even though she acts silly, she's not naive, and she likes to play with people who think she's naive by talking them into awkward innuendo. Though it typically only happens when she's very stressed, she does have occasional episodes that in any non-magical world would be considered psychosis. Since it is a magic world, it's a side effect from having necromanic talents. She's the only Quizzie I've done a full playthrough for, though I'm racing through two others in prep for the new DLC.
I really like her face! I always appreciate seeing Inquisitors that look like a unique person, someone I could plausibly pass on the street. (Minus the ears, obviously.)
