I use .16 for texture mods and it works fine! It should still be d/lable from the daimodding site, but if not lmk and I'll zip and upload the one I have. The coder currently working on the tools is back in action, so hopefully we'll see an updated mod maker in the next couple of months :)
@Mercury it worked!! :DDDD Spoiler Now to do the work to make it actually useable and nice and then make all the variants
Vir Dithara is my ACTUAL FAVORITE DRAGON AGE MAP EVER It's so cool! The archivist-spirits evenly telling me the last words of the people the Veil trapped there is so creepy! Lots of codex entries! A chapter of Hard in Hightown that Varric hasn't written yet!!
Apparently if you have him with you there, he freaks out about it. Also, the stranger Donnen is talking to in that chapter corresponds with whoever got left in the Fade. Stroud's is kind of hilarious. >_>
Haha, yeah, he goes "What the- I never wrote this!" And Stroud is the mysterious warden with the hella mustache, I presume? Nvm, there's a warden AND a guy with a mustache, separately. Nope, mustache IS stroud.... Oh no, I have to go look up the others and make myself sad about Hawke, brb.
Ok, sorry for the multiple posts, but I just had a premonition about where this plot might be going, and I want to write it down so that if it's right, I can be smug later. :P Spoiler: trespasser 1. the viddasala hates magic and wants to destroy it 2. we are in a library filled with memories of Fen'Harel creating the veil 3. which caused the elven empire to fall apart because magic suddenly became much weaker 4. the Qunari are here researching something - we see their technical notes 5. Dorian says the notes are of some kind of theoretical magic 6. The Qunari are super-charging their mages for something If the Viddasala is trying to make the Veil stronger - to do something like what Fen'Harel did... I'm concerned.
You're not bothersome! I like the yellow/blue version - it is very Circle. Also, the thing in Trespasser that makes me laugh the most is everyone being like "BUT WHY DO THE QUNARI THINK WE'RE WORKING FOR FEN'HAREL??? Who is this agent and why do people keep associating them with us???" Poor Berit. She'll find out soon enough.
i love how trespasser just keeps hitting you/the inquisitor in the head with SOLAS IS FENHAREL IN CASE YOU MISSED THE CREDIT COOKIE i mean even if the inquisitor is as oblivious as cullen its bound to make them at least suspect theres something there
@witchknights they look good! Something interesting about the dress - if you give cloth parts specularity on the blue channel of the specular map, you can play with the lightness and darkness on the red and green channels to get a really nice satin effect instead of the more rigid shine you get through the green channel. I'm not sure if I'm explaining it right, but like here, on Lamia's dress, you can really see it in the grey parts. The blue fabric is also somewhat satiny but less so since I make it darker on the green channel. I can upload the specular from that dress as example if you want!
More thoughts: I love the opportunity to FLIP THE FUCK OUT the Inquisitor gets. "Can't one thing in the world stay FUCKING FIXED?" Berit's first on-screen meltdown, I think. (Understandable, since as she points out, HER HAND IS TRYING TO KILL HER) Also, the fact that in the Qunari stronghold there's a letter from Josie demanding reasons for their act of war.. is kind of great. And the reply saying that the Viddasala is not actually authorized to be doing this - the Qunari really have a problem with that, don't they? First the Arishok and now this. : | Blue Reacts to Unsubtle Foreshadowing Pt. 2: the plan is called dragon's breath. several people say "haha, the Qunari love metaphors!" but Cass is like "why is it called dragon's breath? I don't understand?" there's a codex entry about a live specimen from which they are extracting venom to make gaatlok powder. there are DRAGON SKULLS EVERYWHERE IN THE DARVAARAD (which I can conveniently recognize due to the cute scene with Bull and the Chargers at the beginning) I hope I don't have to fight a dragon, but it's seeming increasingly likely... Edit: Aaaand immediately after I posted that, I went through a door and saw a dragon. Lmao.
It's not so much a problem as it is plausible deniability. If things go tits up, then the people who acted weren't authorized, such a shame, so sorry. If things work out, however, it was all according to plan! Qunari are assholes. (You can free the dragon instead of killing it, btw.)
It's a bit tricky - there's a cart blocking part of it, and it can only be blown up using your new mark ability - but once that's done it's pretty straightforward.
