Important update, the Greg Ellis video was not partially IC as Cullen it was entirely IC as Cullen and frequently referenced himself (Greg) in the third person. Drama aside, the remaining BioWare writers that I follow (Pat Weekes, John Epler, Mary Kirby) still seem to be on very friendly terms with Darrah. Also random aside cause apparently that’s the kind of Brain day it is, it makes me very happy that DA has a non-binary lead writer. I hope Pat gets to put of a game they’re proud of ;-;
I just saw this Greg Ellis clusterfuck and... what the fuck. where is my what the fuck reaction. As for the people leaving, I am concerned for DA4, but I hope that they're far along enough in the production and whoever got their jobs has a good enough head on their shoulders so as to not scrap everything and start with a completely new vision 18 months from release, as it is something that BW apparently does a lot. there are three Video Games that I can enjoy and BW already buried one of them
There is mention from dev leads on twitter that the Game Awards will likely have significant news regarding DA4. I'm hoping for a proper title trailer maybe. Thursday/Friday, 1am UTC stream, with a half hour preamble thing before that
me just. frantically putting together a conspiracy board of Which Recently Introduced Crow Could This Be.
Popping in quickly to say that I just finished up a couple of my old Inquisition tarot card analyses! If you enjoy reading that sort of thing, you can find my interpretations/speculation/gushing about Cassandra's starting card and Varric's first two cards here at FFA. (Obligatory warning that FFA is Not Safe For Anything should you choose to venture outside this thread.)
might finally play DA:I soon, are there any recommended mods? anything to deboobify female armor? general QOL stuff?
Modding Frostbite is a PITA so I've never even considered venturing into that realm, but I might suggest one of the instant war table completion mods if you plan to play through all in one go instead of being willing to walk away for hours at a time.
I've just been starting them off before I go to work, since apparently they count time even when the game isn't running. I might use the instant complete mod later on in the game if they start to pile up. I've managed to get the mods running fine using Vortex as an intermediary, but it seems like each time I want to add a new one, I have to do some new thing to make the game keep running :P Last time I had to manually change the patch number in the game files or it wouldnt load my save. Bioware wants me to jack into the matrix.
