Heya! So about 2 months ago I said "fuck it," and despite having decided when I was like 14 that since I couldn't fit art classes into my high school schedule I ought to stop drawing entirely, I DREW A THING. And... I kinda have kept going. So far, it's all just little illustrations for my WIP fanfic or my wife and I's fantroll RP, but... I am terrified and oddly proud of myself. I would super duper really appreciate any commentary, critique, feedback of any kind! I feel like I have no idea what I'm doing anymore! All of a sudden I'm looking up art tutorials and re-learning various coloring media I'm experimenting with and aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa My art tag on my tumblr is here and has all of my stuff so far.

eeeeeeeee thank you! and thanks to the people who liked the posts! This morning I decided to experiment with doing more shading with markers. Also with IMPROVING HANDS GOSHDARNIT. Spoiler: Definite hand improvement (ie non mangled fingers.) Shading? Only kinda. I feel like my idea for shading wasn't so bad - I just need to try the experiment again when the blood color I'm using isn't in an entirely different brand and type of marker from my base skin color. I'm still glad for her character/expression. I have NO IDEA how I apparently retained/developed skill at making my ppl have obvious emotions? But this is very distinctly the body language of "ugggggh my club *facepalm*" as opposed to, say, "ugggghhh my moirail *double facepalm*" or "gods save him my matesprit is getting in trouble AGAIN *double facepalm + faceplant in snuggleplanes x2 combo*"
