Drew a thing for an Artfight character profile today (this is Rina, who doesn't look at what she's grabbing out of her closet each morning, and whose closet is half-full of cute dressy things her mom buys her, and half-full of hand-me-downs from her little brother).
Spoiler: Artfight day one: I finish two drawings and am surprised Yes that's a coffee cup with arms and legs planting a Canadian flag on Mt Everest. I have my reasons. And this is a fun and pretty easy style I've tried out before and will probably try out some more.
@Elaienar I love the way the clothes fall on that second piece. It feels very organic. I'm a bit jealous of now nice it looks.
Thanks! Clothing's something I've had to practice a lot perforce (you see none of the characters in my webcomic are nudists) but it's a bit hard to judge my own progress. It's great to hear that it's working out. And no need to be jealous! With years of practice, effort, and dedication, unhealthy amounts of caffeine, and possibly a deal with the Devil involving your firstborn child, you too can draw lines that look good to other people. Easy as pie! #that's a joke ha ha
this was fun to make even if it was really silly, so here's a shitpost under the cut based on how cats/other animals have the reflective lens in their eyes Spoiler tumblr xpost
