For some reason I've decided that I'm going to render all the different facets, even though most of them are covered by the figure. //snaps on headband, puts motivational playlist on. DAY THREE people. Maybe by day nine I'll be close to finished >.>
The one thing I would be careful with the background is the way it's intersecting her butt. It almost looks like she's sitting on it from the way it's following the curve of her body, though that will probably be clarified when you clarify the background in general.
Would you like some feedback on the hair? I can see a couple of things that would be simple to adjust c:
Atm the shadows are a little harsh, if you fade them in a little more it'll look much more natural. When I worked with graphite I used to tightly coil a tissue into a pencil shape and use that for precision shading. Running something like that over the shadows and ends of the hair would break up the blocks a bit.
left to right because i'm english speaking and not a WEEB (nah, just generally you only see right to left in translated works from languages that work that way)
Working on a new one. Doing a series of fantasy lady prints to populate my fledgling redbubble store with. HMU if there are any particular kinds of ladies you would like to see.
So I spent most of the night trying to do a colored version of the previous drawing. But first I decided to try working out skeletal and muscular structures for them both to make the poses work better. That, uh. That didn't work out. Shoulders went way too far out, necks too short... I had regrets. Ultimately, I just went back, with the last of this as a very low opacity image for color inspiration, and did a new set of outlines off the base drawing. Still changed their features and postures a little bit, but not nearly as much as those exercise drawings did.
Hnnnnnng I've been drawing almost everyday, but haven't gotten around to fixing my computer, so I can't post pictures! It is very annoying
