Thanks for all the suggestions! I may look into mypaint some time, but I'm really enjoying FireAlpaca right now. The brush just works really nicely for me. I'm a babby artist, but I've sketched a few things that I actually like a bit! First few sketches:

So... I'm writing! for the first time in a really long while! and it's going to be an open collaborative project! Some nice whacky fun Urban Fantasy universe with self-indulgent romance and optional smut! Spoiler: plot summary So there's this like business hotel. And a young investigative journalist is sent to investigate the place because weird shit is going on there, like people going in and never coming out again, having sudden changes to character or livelyhood happen, etc. Really, an assortment of weird shit so the journalist goes to stay there and the staff is all super nice and great! and the rooms are pretty and its not even all that expensive. But like out of the corner of the journalist's eyes, is that... is that a pointed tail poking out of the room service lady's skirt? Did the sommeliere just cough smoke? turns out it IS a business hotel. It's just mostly a private business hotel for the local branch of Hell like literally 90% of the people living there and al the staff are demons and humans vanish there because they make deals and shit like that and or course the young, cute lady journalist will OF COURSE fall in love with an adorable feisty demon girl and there will be a giant lesbian subplot Of course this is not Christian canon hell&demons, it's more of an "We are trying to make the absolute worst of humanity presentable, so you get one million years of work hours to think about what you've done and then you get therapy and afterwards you can start a steamy affair with your case worker or get a job here with good benefits, like medical insurance and shit." Hell and Heaven (Oh yes there might be Angels, too) are also probably acting on Earth a whole lot with entire buildings secretly being branches of either. Demons and Angels are everywhere, pretending to be humans (sometimes failing to pretend, badly.) Right now the plan is to build a Tumblr for questions and organisational stuff (probably running it in character as a "Demon Secretary" too) and hosting the whole thing on AO3 (where I'll still have to figure out how collaborative fiction collections and stuff liek that work, but I think it's the best bet rn to gather things in one place with relative ease of getting caught up on canon and participating.) Basically I guess it would help if I had a gathered list of caon worldbuilding somewhere on the tumblr, but otherwise everyone's allowed to run lose and free with the setting, including just, idk interns from the hellenic underworld, or what have you. Just write about your OCs dealing with a world where demons essentially live alongside humans as really salty social workers and bureaucrats. Or make a demon or Angel OC. Really just... *chinhands* write with me! Sooo I'll probably plug this here some more while I try to get the first chapter of the Hotel Palmer main fic written and uploaded and I hope people would be interested in participating? Maybe?
