well, considering ophidian's magic mostly revolves around blood, illusions, and a smelly flower, i think it's reasonable to expect them to be talented at it, especially with the combined daonine sidhe / doppleganger heritage
and peri. those are also supposed to be terrifying and good at illusions. (Oleander de Merelands was half peri iirc)

Switch didn't realize that Changelings couldn't just... twist their heads around, and asked if that was true, then if changelings that were of the same species as Switch really couldn't do that. ( They just thought The Dog was weird and couldn't do it because The Dog is The Dog. They... are a little addled/don't have all the info on things they should, especially considering the way they change out their body out iiiiiis not Ellylon standard, lol. )

technically they are part ellylon, but they are also part doppleganger, which makes anatomy v interesting
Right on top of Switch or some of their clockwork... ooor their busted up last clockwork body? Fwiw, it is the same shallowing, the two have just kind of... done the equivalent of making a big painted line and then letting things spill across anyway.
