technically not lesbians, but presenting my demon twins, dezzy & dru Spoiler this game is super great and there's so many options, i'm just kinda upset that the clothes are unnecessarily gendered, but then i'm always upset about that. (i just wanna make pretty boys in dresses why must dollmakers punish me.)
Spoiler: here's my Leah and my <3 crush's Ali being best frenemies together, and probably beating something/someone up Spoiler: more leah
hmm, that's weird, it's still showing up for me? but i tried re-linking the photo anyway, does it show up now?
Ooo. That looks like fun @Choco Also, found this? it isnt up yet, still getting funding, but I thought I'd share it with others who might care.
Made a thing! Spoiler: thing thing with a spoopy filter thing thing is based on (the character's irl self has the hair (ish) I gave her in game)
I play with dollmakers a fair amount but I rarely save the results. I made a couple things for this thread! I made a couple of the characters I mentioned in this post with this game: Spoiler: idk what's going on in this scene The aesthetic of this game is close to the aesthetic of the setting these characters live in. and another pair of characters made with the anime couple creator from upthread: Spoiler: who the heck are you two They're not actually a romantic couple but they're the first characters I thought of to make. He's grayscale because he's a ghost. Both of them are looking way too cheerful for what generally unhappy people they are. I guess they're having a good day?
I used Dark Magician to make a self-insert. It has a nice hair selection, but terrible outfit options. :( Spoiler I then tested out Waivera which makes okay women but great mutant guys. They didn't give women all the scars and mutation options, boo to them. :( Plus I swear it has a bunch of clothes and hair straight from Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts. Spoiler: By which I mean, I sure hope you like belts. He's not even wearing pants! Just boxer shorts. And so many fucking belts. I alternated colors to make it more obvious how many there are. After that I tried a couple of different builders to make a few of my characters. Dark Witch Fantasy Girl Heroine Creator Goddess Scene which actually has a lot of cool settings, I quite like it. Very stylized, very cool First I tried to see just what interesting things I could do with women in that doll maker, and ended up with a neat version of my part-time mermaid character Echo, in the middle of shifting from merfolk to her human form. The short human on the beach is Baelian, and they're shielding her from any gawkers on shore. Or trying to. They are much shorter than Echo. Spoiler After that I decided to make the same characters in a few different games to give a good sense of what they look like. At first I wasn't going to make Aculeus, the third character who goes with Baelian and Echo, because she's much bigger than any of these dress-up games offer. I spent like 30 minutes trying to find a decent plus-size game, but the few I found wouldn't work for her. :( So Aculeus is much curvier than depicted here, Echo is taller with wider shoulders, and Baelian is very slim and short. Spoiler: Echo Spoiler: Baelian Spoiler: Aculeus Spoiler: The group! :)
there is! bentewee - it's invite only, but I can send you a code if you'd like. it was made by a girl in the Brazilian community, so i have no idea how widespread knowledge about it is, but they're pretty consistent with shop updates and are slowly adding functionalities.
I don't know who these girls are, but I do know that the one on the right used to be a villain and they are Super Duper Gay. Also the pink one braids her girlfriend's hair because that sounds cute to me.
So there's this Pin Up maker, kinda tame 50s aesthetic with decent color range choices, and there's a deluxe version of it; same color schemes, but somewhat different outfits and the girl's in a different position. Very handy for making two characters in a matching art style without the awkward same pose thing. look at this cute superheroine clone and her supervillain progenitor
