Spoiler: text from before any edits on Sunday Summer Camp is over and School's back in session, but that doesn't mean we need to give up on our Streams (ba-dum-tish). Even though the weather is turning, this is still the place to organize your virtual hangouts with fellow Kintsugians. Make those dreary winter days a little brighter by All-capsing with your friends at some movies, cartoons, tv shows and video games. This is the place to propose and organize your Kintsugi internet streams!! Whether they be mass skype chats, streaming tv shows, online gaming, or art streams. Notice: Most of the united states is on daylight savings time right now. Our timezones are PDT, MDT, CDT & EDT respectively. It'll be this way until we roll the clocks back in late fall. Leaving it here for archival purposes OLD STUFF BELOW: Transformers: Host - @mizushimo (Schedule: tues or thurs weekly) Spoiler: TFA characters Heros- Optimus Prime = The leader robot, noble, young, a bit reckless Bumblebee= Bumblesnark, fast and uppity, cannot shut up Bulkhead = bighearted, a little dense, clumsy, wants to be known for more than just breaking things. Prowl = Stoic Ninja, fascinated by earth, kind of goofy. Ratchet = Old crotchety man x10, has robo-stubble, the medic Bad Guys= Starscream = screechy, duplicitious second in command, Megatron = Elegant sounding, but still a cartoon character, he's just trying to get AHead Humans = Sari - Cute, Does what she wants, has a all powerful macguffin key that can instantly heal the autobots Professor Sumdac - The sad hamster man scientist, Sari's dad. Runs the least safe robototics corporation in the entire country. Has megatron's head in his personal lab and uses his hand as a chair. Captain Fanzone - cynical cop, hates machines Spoiler: LAST TIME ON TFA! 1-4 Optimus and Co are a low level repair crew for the autobots. while fixing a spacebridge they discover the legendary AllSpark, which had been lost during the war with the decepticons. Allspark = The Mythical source of all Cybertronian Life. On their way to return it to the Autobot High Command, Megs and his crew materialize and try to take it back. This probably would have worked, but Starscream took this opportunity to try and kill Megatron with a remotely detonating bomb that he slapped on his boss's back. The damage autobot ship made through a spacebridge and crashed into the Great Lakes near Detroit. 50 YEARS LATER! The autobots finally wake up and immediately have to deal with giant mutant bug that was a failed lab experiment of Sumdac Corporations rampaging through detroit. Once dealt with, the human population hails them as heroes, so much for the 'disguise' part of robots in disguise. They end up becoming defacto protectors of the city. The autobots try to acclimate to their new home with the help of Sari, a girl who got entangled in the autobot's business during the pilot episodes. We find out that Meg's head has been in Sumdac's lab for god knows how long, he comes back online for the first time when Sari gets too close to the lab with her Allspark Key. The first thing he does is take control of some tiny robots, and uses them to turn the Autobot's defunct factory homebase against them. This fails. Meg's ongoing goal now is to build a new body for himself, there's only so much a disembodied head can do. Setting: Detroit is populated by non-sentient robots who serve humanity. It's full of police drones, robo-tutors, The citizens are used to robots living among them, so the Transformers aren't as much of an alien concept as they would be normally. The advanced robotics tech was pioneered by Prof. Sumdac and his corporation, It's likely based on the cybertronian tech that crashed near young sumdac's house fifty years ago in the form of an offlined Megatron. Jack's Mom: Pragmatic ER nurse who has a thing for Optimus Spoiler: Season 1 recap Megatron shoved a purple icicle into his chest and gained the power to RAISE TEH UNDEADS. He tried to summon a zombie army made of dead transformers corpses from the robot homeworld, cybertron, luckily our heros stopped him in time. Megs was caught in a big explosion and was presumed dead. The autobots are stranded on earth now because the space bridge is broken. The autobots were joined by a group of plucky kids who got mixed up in the conflict by accident. Everyone in the stream found them annoying except me so be prepared. The kids assisted the autobots by hacking into the space bridge so that the evil zombie robots couldn't get through from cybertron. The kids now hang out regularly with the autobots in their secret base. Agent fowler, um, got kidnapped, starscream tortured him to get the location of the autobots, but then he was rescued. Starscream, Megatron's second in command, didn't wait for conformation before declaring himself leader of the decepticons. Later he finds that Megs is still alive (barely) so he tries to murder him by pulling the evil purple icicle out of his chest. He was forced to send megatron back to the ship to be saved when he discovered that Soundwave was recording his actions. Starscream found another decepticon on earth, but the autobots fought and killed him in one episode. 7-14 - One of of their missions, they encountered and evil human mercenary group called MECH. Now the leader of that organization (Silas) is very interested in capturing and studying one of the robot aliens. Wheeljack, an old friend of Bulkhead's showed up for a visit on earth. It turns out that the decepticons kidnapped the real Wheeljack and replaced him with a shapeshifting con to learn the location of their base. This plan failed utterly and Wheeljack flew off into the sunset at the end of the episode. A beastformer named Airachnid is on earth. In the past, this character tortured Arcee and killed her last partner. This time, Airachnid attempted and failed to kill Jack but the pair of them managed to fight her off. She's terrifying and still at large. Knockout and Breakdown are introed! Knockout is an extremely vain decepticon who turns into a snazzy sports car, Breakdown turns into some kind of bulky military truck. They are the only decepticons with car forms (most are planes). Starscream briefly made Knockout his second in command in exchange for his help to convince Soundwave that Megatron was beyond hope and should be taken off life support. Optimus Prime got a robot disease of convenience that only comatose megatron knew how to cure. So Bumblebee went into Megs brain and tried to find it. This sort of worked, but Megs consciousness followed him out and possessed Bee. Megs-as-Bee went to the secret locale and found some more dark energon, then healed/awakened himself by plunging it into his comatose body's chest (again). He then went off to find Starscream and beat him into a dented pile of scrap for trying to kill him at the end of episode 5. 15-21 *MECH kidnapped Breakdown and tried to dissect him for science. They really want the transformers's tech. Breakdown was saved by autobots, but Silas was able to get some of the data he needed. *Airachnid joins the decepticons! Fun!! *Jack's mom finally found out about the Autobots after Airachnid kidnapped and almost murdered her. *Starscream and Megs continued their hate-filled Sadomasochist relationship. Megs FINALLY had enough of Starscream's scheming and legitimately tried to murder him, but the autobots distracted him before he could pull the trigger. Starscream almost left Megs to die when he was buried alive, but had second thoughts. Later on, he tried to defect to the autobots on a mission with airachnid, this lasted about...3 minutes. He taunted Arcee with the fact that he was the one who killed her old partner, Cliffjumper. He managed to escape in the end, so now he's off on his own. *Miko and Bulkhead are best buds forever. She tries her best to help the team, despite being a puny human. *One of the biggest concerns for the Autobots is running out of their power source, energon. The decepticons have control of all the deposits on earth. A lost formula for synthetic energon got beamed into bulkhead's brain, but the knowledge was forced out of his head before he could completely transcribe the formula. Ratchet invented Synthetic energon with incomplete formula, but it fell into decepticon hands by the end of the episode. The stuff gave Ratchet super powers, but also made him pretty crazy. Knockout was able to salvage a drop. FINALE: Optimus and Megatron had to team up to kill the big bad transformer demigod at the center of the earth, before he could wake up fully and destroy the planet. The team went into his brain/chest, and Optimus broke the Matrix of Leadership in order to accomplish the task. Unfortunately, this act wiped out all his memories made after he became a prime. Seeing this, Megatron hauled him back to his ship via space bridge. Prime only remembers him as the good friend he had years ago. So now amnesiac Optimus is in the hands of Megatron, and the autobots on earth are leaderless. This is a big problem. *When Megs disappeared to (unsuccessfully) ally himself with the emerging Unicron, Airachnid tried to take over the ship and leave earth. Soundwave objected strenuously and handily beat her in a fight. Spoiler: Season 2 bits and pieces 27 - 31 Jack and Arcee had to go on an adventure to Cybertron in order to reboot Optimus' memories. Starscream gave them the location of the space bridge in exchange for medical care. Optimus/Orion Pax managed to figure out that Megatron was bad news, but not before he decrypted the location of some artifacts hidden on earth. By the end he was back with the team, but they had to spend the next two episode trying to get artifacts before the decepticons got their hands on them. MECH stole Bee's transformation cog, he didnt get it back for two episodes. Starscream is having a bad time in general. He briefly teamed up with MECH to help them figure out how to use Bee's transformation cog in their own home grown robot, in exchange for energon. He made some...poor choices that led to the destruction of Bee's transformation cog (ratchet fixed it later). Upset by this, Silas took Starscream's transformation cog and dumped him in the woods. We found out that Ratchet was the one who was unable to fix Bee's voicebox when it was destroyed after Megs tortured the scout for information during the war on cybertron. Ratchet even offered to give Bee his tcog after mech stole it. other fun stuff: Knockout was really disappointed when Bee couldn't chase after him as a car. He even stopped and waited for him to get his act together. PING LIST: for reference.
