i feel like this could be a budding spade, should it be pursued. :P also - just to clarify - in your first post with Gold, she mentioned wanting to help the other Pearls. did you want to retcon that, or is this a character point (i.e. either she's forgotten/it's been put out of her mind by all the craziness/she doesn't want to admit it)? i'm not trying to nitpick or anything, i'm just curious which way you're taking things. :)

that was a 'I have to help them somehow, but I will NEVER ADMIT IT' type thing. additionally, after losing her mistress and having independence thrust upon her, she really no longer cares about helping them and is more focused on 'HOW AM I GOING TO SURVIVE NOW' and hysterics and such. basically, she wanted to help, she just didn't want to go this far with helping.
