headcanon: heimdall makes a running joke out of "don't need eyes" like "i don't need eyes to see that you have a piece of spinach in your teeth" and everyone is really uncomfortable bc they don't know if they can laugh or not
eric is the slytherin handler for a whole herd of gryffindors! except wolverine, because a wolverine is basically a badger squared.
i got charles and eric swapped in my head for this post. i blame strep throat. apologies. eric as gryffindor i can actually kinda see, yeah.
Thing thats been bugging me since days of future past: how the hell does peter (quicksilver) listen to his music when he's going fast? So far ive seen two scenes where he's very obviously focusing himself by putting on his headphones with music playing in seemingly real time, but he's not running in real time. Is it speeded up? If it is, how does he know exactly how fast he's going, and match up the music beforehand? Is it just mood music for the movie and he's not listening to anything? I am baffled
i imagine that stuff he’s wearing or has immediately on his person also gets affected by his go-fast-ness somehow, which is how his clothes don’t get shredded every time
i'm caught up on the whole odinson family drama now (hela's wedding: perfect twist imo) and trying to decide what to read next. dr strange? deadpool? so many possibilities!
Saw Spiderverse yesterday and decided to finally take the plunge on a year's subscription of Marvel Unlimited. Really not fucking jazzed by this site's layout but hey existing legal option to read this shit en masse that is like what. The cost of maybe like four or five tpbs? Reader itself is ok. It functions. Not sure how the phone app's reader is though. Heard some peopel talk about it kind of being a pain to see shit on the phone app. But I got other stuff I can do on my phone like SJ or my podcasts, so if it's that bad then Marvel comics can just be like laptop breaktime stuffs. Just worked my way through Spider-Man Noir. Going to be getting through the other Noir miniseries next I think. I'm just gonna stuff as much Spiderpeople content down my gullet as the service permits before I move to my true Marvel lust: X-Men.
yeah, their site could use some work. the search is kinda borked, and there isn't anything like an organized comics library you can browse, which is dumb. but compared to physically driving to the big comics shop in st paul, or ordering comics at my local and waiting for them to come in, it's a huge win. and WAY cheaper. ps DOOM has given you ARMS and LEGS yet you remain USELESS
I honestly kind of wish that things like shonen jump and this service would take cues from pirate sites. For whatever problems ive had with pirated scan sites they tend to have decent search functionality.
Question: I was reading Loki: Agent of Asgard a while ago (before I got distracted - I'll have to get back to it) and that Loki design looks pretty much identical to the Loki design in the Thor panel jacktrash posted earlier in this thread. Are they in the same universe? Because I can get behind that. Also, Angela, Asgard's Assassin sounds fantastic. I'll have to look into it.
Also, this is the site I've been reading comics on. There's a bunch of ads and it's super frustrating to use on a tablet, but it works for a computer/laptop.
