Star Trek AOS, non-Starfleet AU, Spirk. Basically, Kirk joins Space Doctors Without Borders, except they're more like....Space Green Beret EMTs Without Borders?? A really cool concept, tbh, it works really well.

 

I have a feeling I'll like the second rec a lot too, but I just gotta say the first was so good??? Like I barely go here, just enough for some context, and I read it and it's sequel, and am already working through part one again

 

MuffinLance has a bunch of good ATLA stuff, but my favorite at the moment is the Dark Night in Ba Sing Se AU series, wherein Li gets recruited by the Ba Sing Se guard to keep him out of trouble. Which works about as well as most things involving Zuko do. Currently two complete works.
