Lugh of the Long Hand is indeed pretty thoroughly awesome. Wasn't his grandfather the Fir Bolg champion Balor of the Deadly Eye?

 

Yes. Balor being his maternal grandfather. His father was Cainte of the Tuatha de Danann. But yeah Lugh is just the greatest. I love him and respect him so very much. And I'm grateful to him.

 

I love sidhe even though I know barely anything about them

(There's this romance novel I've been trying to remember the title of for ages involving them and it's basically driving me crazy cuz I didn't get past the first chapter before I misplaced it :( )

Sure thing. I like being able to share around information. It's one of the nicest things about the internet. The mary-jones site meanwhile has a nice and large collection of various Celtic texts. Things like the Táin bó Cuailnge and various legal texts from Ireland can be found on it. Not the greatest translations but it's a lot of material for free.
