I stumbled on this thread a while back and started reading, was interested but some of the messy pages were tripping my visual parsing issues so I quit a few chapters in. Enjoyed it! Just was having a hard time actually understanding what was going on because my brain was being fucky.

Now working on an Actual Read Through, now at Knife's first real bit.

I love Knife. Definitely getting a Homestuck Intermission feeling from him.

I also love Fork. What a delightful bastard. And Dylan. But Fork. I spent that whole chapter or two going "same, Fork, same."

I don't think he's supposed to be relatable but fuck me if he ain't

OKAY SO. I am popcorning to hell and back but I'm frustrated bc I want to go back and read some of the parts relevant to the current Things That Are Happening/Being Revealed and bc of the layout of the archive and my own bad memory and the winding nature of things i've got. no recollection of where those parts ARE. can someone help a dweeb out and slap some of the relevant parts as links under a cut for me?

The Birth of Spoon's Spoon/Chain starts here. Lauma identifies the Kosmic stones as the power source, but incorrectly describes them as rocks.

"Pink! Pink!" Turnip/baby helper is/has memories of Original Flavor Canary's dad.

Explanation of Kosmic stones, followed a few pages later by Leadman stole Evil Mother's heart, and implication of having stole Crimson's as well. Also an explanation that Mandragora worms have TWO hearts. Also Evil Mother's stolen heart is in Leadman's eyesocket because Mandragora hearts are their eyes.

Which means Leadman could be considered a worm? Mandragora are parasites after all.

Off screen Original Flavor Canary gets finger puppeted by Evil Mother, implants her dormant heart as a new eye. Also pukes up/re-eats a Very Familiar finger.

Confirmation that Leadman took Crimson's hearts. Crimson, being a hybrid miracle baby, has three mandragora hearts and a fleshy human heart.
Knife's knife is implied here to be one of the hearts Leadman took. This has been confirmed on Kosmic's blog, with Chain also being confirmed as the other (but no explanation why Crimson's remaining heart thinks it was destroyed rather than made into a king's bracelet). The fork is "something else entirely" but was made the same way. I can try to find that post if you like.

Dylan was imprisoned for eating Ted McGold. Her stitched-on thumb is one of the "lost fingers" belonging to Original Flavor Canary's dad. The other is the one Canary 2.0 puked up that Ash returned and Rome is currently flipping his shit over, which is I think the same one (only one with a ring) Evil-Mother-as-Original-Canary puked up and re-ate.

Original Canary was found in an Aiguille vault. Also the plan is partially explained here and about 2 pages before this one. Mostly: Antony gets et and somehow controls Canary. (Through the finger?)

Simon's last name is/was McGold? I stumbled on this looking for other stuff, have no idea what it means but I was keeping an eye out for anything McGold.

Celadon and Antony have a chat in Canary 2.0's heartworld. Apparently it might not be the same finger since Antony got the ring from knife.
