I knit... kind of constantly actually. I don't have photos (and rarely take them any more because I am lazy) but I'm currently working on a blanket for my brother and sister-in-law to keep in their camper, and a pink-and-purple checkerboard modular throw blanket for me. I'm making up my brother's as I go and using http://knittingsuna.blogspot.com/2011/04/mitered-square-blanket-pattern.html for my throw, alternating pink and purple squares. I'm quite fond of that blanket pattern, especially for stashbusting.
@Kirie Can I ask if you’re using a pattern? I love the little slipped stitch(?) lines and I think it might look nice with a yarn i have :D
I am piecing together some mitered squares I've been making off and on for... actually probably a year and a half now, to make yet another blanket. I have way too many hand knitted blankets. One of my favorites I've made though, was a Hero of Light Quest Bed blanket! Because sometimes you just need to go god tier...
Another socc I have been working on. I also dyed the yarn for this one. This socc pair will actually be a gift for one of my friends.
It took FOREVER to make. My bed is only a full size, but the blanket would easily fit a queen. I wanted a lot of overhang. Most of it, barring the intarsia for the sun, was pretty mindless easy TV knitting, though.
I'm currently making a warm, reversible cardigan-jacket thing for next winter, using double knit. It's got a Greek key design as trim and then striped. In red and turquoise because I love that combination.
my aunt gave us her old curtains a couple days ago so today i made a skirt Spoiler: pictures! WHY ARE PHONE PICTURES SO HUGE SORRY anyways I oringinally wanted to make a circle skirt, but since I wanted to make not only a skirt but a long sleeved crop top out of what I had of this fabric (200x145cm) I could.... not do that.... and had to improv a bit to make it work. I'm very pleased with the result! Working without a pattern is scary & I did mess up a little bit - the buttonholes are horizontal instead of vertical so you can see the hole even when the button's over it, & there's a little gap between the zipper and the waistband that shouldn't be there, and a couple places where the seams aren't 100% but like... I made this! I made a thing I can actually wear! Aaahhhhh!!! I really wanted to add pockets but this sits so high on my waist I'm not sure I could without ruining the fit and that'd be really sad seeing as it worked out so wonderfully
Oh i love it that's so cute!!! Could you maybe try to do external pockets? They wouldn't impact the fit much, i think?
Ooooh, maybe??? Never tried that before. I'll check if I've room/a good place to put them tomorrow :D
