Fic That Needs To Exist

I've always wanted to see a fanfic of what it would be like if, as Huss originally planned, the cast were ten years old instead of thirteen. All I can think of is "less romantic entanglements and more giggling after each swear", but someone with better memories of the difference between being ten and being thirteen could make something of it.

 

I heard that Bow is trans. I kinda want to write a fanfic where he's like Thomas Beatie and gets pregnant, and then has a conversation with Glimmer about it, but I don't think I can do it properly.

 

Sakuya tries to teach Remilia how to bake because Remilia wanted to try and DEMANDED it after watching Sakuya in the kitchen one day. This does not work well. It does work cutely though.

 

I don't feel qualified to write a fic about Hermione being from a non-mainstream religion and that affecting the plot, but I want it.

 

Also: the difference between witchcraft and wizardry in the harry potter universe, in the case that there is a difference.

 

I really, really miss a few fics from the very early days of Homestuck fandom where troll sex was completely different from human sex in a way that humans can't reasonably replicate - so, not like "Tab A in Slot B but Tab A is a tentacle", I mean like "trolls have no genitals, 'genetic material' is blood from making out with fangs". I can't remember where I saw that one. But I really miss the creativity, everyone just latched onto the tentabulge/nook thing and it's got boring. (Friendsim disappointed me here, but then they do specifically say in the game that it's non-canon even within the confines of the 'verse.) I want more weird shit! I don't know exactly what kind of weird shit, but I want it.

In I think the second fic, the one where karkat meets gamzee and Feferi, there’s a chase scene where either karkat or eridan jumps over a pair of trolls making out over a bucket on some stairs, it was great

Corruption of Champions might still be too tame, but also all the sexual triggers. I don't think I've seen tree + protagonist, but I'd be surprised if it wasn't there.

 

She-ra AU: the horde is not a thing. Angella went fucking berserk over Micah's death, wiped the floor with Shadow Weaver and Hordak, there is no more Horde. Adora and Catra grew up as orphans on the street/out in the woods somewhere with only each other to watch their backs, Scorpia and Entrapta are still kinda outcasts/on the fringes of princess society for being weird. Adora finds the sword, turns into She-ra, gets claimed by Angella and Bright Moon as "look, She-ra has returned as a symbol of our awesomeness and legitimacy for having beaten the horde!" Catra gets dragged along because Adora won't let them take just her, but def feels unwanted, and upset that everyone is trying to take Adora away from her and that Adora seems to be going along with it! Ends up hanging out and being delinquents with Scorpia and Entrapta.

end game is that Adora and Catra get to figure out who they are without the codependence and Shadow Weaver's mind games and then make up and be girlfriends once they're capable of, y'know, having healthy relationships, also Catra/Scorpia/Entrapta OT3, also Scorpia and Glimmer get to hug a lot.

 

@Athol Magarac No, CoC still has sex that is recognisable as being such. Bigger or leakier equipment doesn't make it all that weird.

 

A Harry Potter fic in which everything is the same, but the Weasleys are fallen-from-grace nobility and the Malfoys are jumped-up merchants risen above their station.

So many hp fics depict the rich purebloods as nobility and ignore the weasleys, it's very annoying.

I was rereading old posts just now and found a comment from a friend about how he'd like to see a Potterfic with a villain who isn't a blood supremacist, because it gets overapplied as shorthand for EVIL even in cases where it makes no sense, like with bashed/OOC Weasleys.

 

I have for a while wanted a soulmate au fic in fallout new vegas, because as far as I know none exist. And that just seems like a weird, conspicuously empty shelf in an otherwise full bookcase. They're everywhere, why not in NV? Why hasn't anyone written anything? Gimme, I'll read it.

Also have it be courier/vulpes, cos that works for me.

 

Someone on twitter mentioned that they wanted a fic where Tyrion Lannister and Sansa Stark made the best out of what they could, actually became friends and worked to take down Joffrey together and now I really want it too.

There's at least two I could find with a cursory glance! Burning Bright and Sword Swap.
