Yes, it's Maison de Portes, aka my home game. Livia-mun is the head mod and Thancred-mun is one of the other mods. They're good people. Spoiler: continued discussion of Livia, also mild spoilers for Tales of the Abyss yeeeeeeeah Operation Rehabilitate Livia is sort of a low-key running sidequest at this point. I'm predictably playing Asch there, so there was an initial round of "oh" from him at the similarity (because he's also a trained-as-weapon type of abuse from Van, let's be real) until the sexual part came up and then he just went HOLY SHIT THAT'S FUCKED UP at her. He's generally trying to nudge her into the direction of making decisions on her own with varying degrees of gentleness, but the fact that they do have that similar history means that she can't shrug him off the way she does Thancred (poor Thancred). Plus Garlemald being generally kind of fucked culturally and so half the time he's just like "what no" and they're constantly misreading each others' signals.
I have a couple alts on Balmung, main one is Nennali Durant. I just got to HW with her and am happy to shorten queue times with her mystical healer powers. (Also leveling my tanks.) I'm usually on after 10pm EST-ish. Oh yeah, you main WHM right? I could probably get paladin or dark knight from 30-50 within the week...I like tanking i just hate doing it with DF strangers.

Playing Heavensward again knowing what will happen is just [LONG EXTENDED INTERNAL SCREAMING] Nen got a bit of a makeover. I wish there were a hairstyle like Kayla from Shoot Around (Warning: autoplay music and extreme gay) but this one looks pretty good. (there's a similar one that is Midlander only which. :( its so cute give it to Highlanders plz) Spoiler: babbling about ocs My baby alt on Faerie has it tho. Story-wise she's Nen's best friend. A conjurer and candidate for Hearer. She was albino in the original concept so I kept that. they're old OCs from a story I probably won't get around to writing, so I thought I'd come up w a FF14 background for them. They're war orphans from Ala Mhigo who grew up in Gridania.
Thing I learned recently: if the game says "this name is not available" during character creation, and it's not taken on Lodestone, it's being blocked by the profanity filter. (Hilarious for a game full of drugs, murder, alcohol and rape, but eh) It reads first and last name as one word and so if any part of it spells a banned word it won't let you use that name combo.
*kicks down the door* i'm back going to resub and play for a bit. partner is out of town all next week so i need something to do! my main character is still on Balmung. though when my partner gets back i might roll an alt character with her on Cactuar. likely going to do a race and name swap but i'd love to join Kintsugi LS once I know what my new name is going to be.
Now that I can kinda words Spoiler: spoilers thru 3.2 and trailer -LUCIA MY LOVE I get all fluttery when she does a badass -Aymeric stop getting hurt JESUS CHRIST (apropos of nothing, the writers apparently stated Lucia has feelings for him but they don't intend to have him hook up w anyone. FINE THEN, MORE LUCIA/VIDOFNIR FOR ME!! [real otp is Lucia/Aymeric/Estinien tho]) -They definitely make him sound more aggressive about fighting Nidstinien in the Eng version...in Japanese he seems more resigned rather than I'M GOING TO SACRIFICE MY BFF IF I MUST!! -I just. Really hope we can save Estinien. After losing Haurchefant and Ysayle just...GIVE ME THIS, SQUARE ENIX. god. GIMME SOME MORE KH DIVE TO THE HEART SHIT I will dropkick Nidhogg right outta him!! I mean as awful as it all was, Haurchefant, Ysayle and even Minfilia made their OWN choices about their fates. Estinien didn't get a choice. :/ (not that I'm not salty about the other 3. I am excited for possibly more lore about Ratatoskr tho. -Duking it out w Einzahr looks like it'll be fun tho. Linkshell is a thing, yeah, and I've been on Balmung every now and then. I'm trying to get Dark Knight up because doing level 51 story at level 55 WHM feels like a waste of exp... Either way next time we're on at the same time I'll be happy to add you. I may be on tonight, in fact, tho I don't know how our timezones sync up. When 3.3 is here I'll be on Adamantoise doing the new content on my main for a while, but I do want to hang out w you guys. ;w;
