I'm just standing around waiting for the Best Buy to open so I can buy wireless headphones.

 

fair warning, wireless headphone sound quality tends to be shit

 

Do they have to be wireless?

 

I splurged on some really nice wireless headphones a while back and they sound nice and have held up for two years so far. Sound quality isn't always bad, but be prepared to pay a bit for good wireless sound.

 

I like wired headphones because all of my devices have terrible battery life and Bluetooth doesn't help that at all. It also means I can listen to things where the device isn't compatible with Bluetooth.

I've gone through several wired headphones over the course of a year because the wire always frays in the same spot. I've wanted wireless headphones for work a couple of yearsnow, and I had enough money saved up to buy some.

 

Fair on the battery thing - my PC is set up so that wired headphones are basically impossible to use and I normally use them with that. But my set also comes with a wire so they can be plugged into a headphone jack if necessary.

 

Help, I laughed myself sick reading this post about the time someone had two of her dogs refuse to come out from inside an elk carcass.

A couple of those I know/figured out (Make your Own Ferrofluid, black ink toner probably includes iron/steel? Something magnetic) but why are there no explanations posted? Some of the others are MYSTERIES and I wanna know T_T

 

the computer issue is hard drive save data magnetically, so when you hold a magnet near one bad things happen.

 

Right! Forgot to list that as a 'knew that one'! I grew up with a lot computers and magnets and wasn't allowed to play with them in the same room.

sticks my legy on the ledge to jokingly nyeh at people who do not do things the way i do :P



My boots, they nest with the other shoes for the night. A shoe colony.

I also have slippers but i don't want to bother taking a pic, just trust they are good and protect my feet from the evil basement floor

(I acknowledge that, with their thicker soles, shoes would let less of the cold seep into me footers. Or maybe those indoor/outdoor slippers with actual soles? since mine are basically fleece lined moccasins)
