can they be fermented and distilled into a nectarine whiskey?

They can definitely be fermented and distilled into something, probably something good. But also probably not whiskey.

True - I think whiskey has rules about how it is made to be called whiskey

Yeah the primary allergies to birchpollen and grasspollen (classic hayfever), mugwort and nuts as well as latex are known to have cross reactivity with kiwi! The more you know! I probably have a cross reactivity thing going on because I'm not strongly allergic but I do react to pollens, nuts and latex rather more strongly.

Interesting! I have allergies to pollen (could be grass and/or tree), but not to latex or any nuts, as far as I know. Same with my dad. We both have pretty minor reactions to kiwi, though...

depends on how much you distill it. You might wind up with a schnapps sort of situation or brandy.

well the pollen allergy could be enough to trigger cross reactivity! I just have very many different allergies in the family history and apparently i am slowly developing most of them x')

I react to Kiwi the same way as to Pineapple and Orange if consumed in excess. I get a burny mouth.

Well Ananas/Kiwi is a known cross reactivity relation! idk if that means you're allergic because I also break out like a motherfucker in addition to itchy burny mouth when what feels like allergy happens, but it's a thing to possibly be aware of maybe???
