So at the medical center there's a thing of condoms that says "condoms (contains latex)" and for a moment i read it as "condoms (contains laxatives)" and was really concerned

you know the fact that horns (permanent) are keratin and antlers (temporary) are bone is so fucked up

keratin is part of the integumentary system, it’s the same stuff as hair. wouldn’t it make more sense to shed something that’s only part of your skin instead of part of your actual skeleton?

I won’t post pictures but the way antler grows is that it’s covered in velvet (thin, highly vascularized skin) first. When the antlers are fully developed the velvet peels off.
