Do they? We've never had that issue with ours. Not to say it doesn't have its issues, but that's not been one of them...

 

I’m with Saro on this one, the main problem I have is Fallout 4 won’t load the first time I start it up so I have to do it again. Still annoying, but not that level of annoying.

 

It’s been about an hour since I turned it off and the back of it still feels warm. I don’t know what else it could be besides over heating. I was having trouble getting it to work with my monitor when it had been working fine before too.

 

When we had that problem on our xbox 360 (the original, the one with red rings of death) it worked much better if you put it up on caps, so air could get under it. Another thing to try might be getting some canned air and blowing it out, as dust makes them heat up much, much faster. Though, that is assuming you haven't tried that already.

 

I've had writers block for the better part of three months. Finally figured out that it stems from me viewing writing as a performance and getting stage fright. I've never shared my writing before this year, and in December I got an Ao3 account and started putting up fic, getting reviews, and suddenly writers block.

Wednesday I decided to write something stupid and self indulgent that I was never going to show anyone, and now I'm 10K words in with ideas for more.

 

So I haven't looked very hard, but it occurred to me today that I haven't come across Advanced (in the Country sense) Phantom of the Opera. Like, imagine that guy screaming while Eric encourages him, "Sing for me!"

Man, having my cryptowallets catch up takes some serious time, especially for someone like myself who only really dabbles in this from time-to-time for shiggles*.

*Apparently a ton of shiggles depending on how well Bitcoin is doing. Did you know that more charitable miners will set up wells where people can get some free cryptomuns? I know that because I literally got .05 from a guy back in, like, 2010, 2011?

 

I know jack shit about bitcoin / cryptocurrency except that my friend grew plants in an uninsulated solarium this winter by putting the three machines he was using to mine bitcoin in there and using them as heaters, which I thought was pretty neat.

 

I’ve been at the hospital for my fathers second eye surgery, it took over two hours for the drops to dilate his eyes. Wonder if I’ll nake it to work on time. At least I got some sleep while sitting in that chair next to his bed.

 

My sibling knows a guy who made $2000 off Dogecoin because he figured out there was a predictable value cycle in obscure cryptocurrencies where there's an initial bubble of interest where it's worth something, and then the value starts dropping sharply as the combination of "people get bored and leave" and "more and more of the currency gets mined" reaches critical mass. The same guy also made a huge pile of money by sneaking into the city dump to find some dude's old hard drive that he'd thrown out that had a bunch of Bitcoins on it.

Me: I can never talk to this person again, ever
