Currently suffering through a full-blown Asshole Feline Panic Attack (current ongoing time: 2.5 hours) and I have turned to the drink to get me through it

They hate giving the UK Disney movies in a timely manner. They stagger releases around the globe and often the UK is in the last lot to get access.

What’s everyone’s favorite time signature. mine is 3/4 because of its momentum

3/4 is good and a tempting answer. You can transfer triambic poetry to it easily.

I’m a sucker for anything that makes a good 7/8 work. It sounds exciting and not weird until you really start listening, then you get progressively more confused.

 

i like 6/8 because its like 3/4 but twice

I was introduced to prog rock with "you'll like this, they change the time signatures up all the time" so I'd have to say my favorite time signature is one that changes once you get a handle on what it was.

 

4/4. easy to remember how to play. nice for when you play the french horn and for some reason the horn parts are not written in F and so you have to transpose them on the fly while playing because you were too lazy to write out the transposed copy for yourself the night before and "ehhhh i'm sure i can do it no problem" but that was a Lie

i always liked playing the really fast ones, and i like when the unusual or less-used ones show up in a song i’m listening to just because they sound interesting
