I've never watched Spirited Away (heresy, I know), so idk if I could fully appreciate the video, but that thumbnail alone looks incredible. :0

 

it shows clips of what has been rebuilt with scenes from the movie so you can compare/contrast even if you've never seen the movie. :D he also describes each scene with what happened in the movie so you understand the tour. it's. so cool.

Dreamed a snippet of an anime last night, then when I woke up the backstory filled itself in:

An AI researcher and his wife had been struggling to have a kid, with many miscarriages. Now one pregnancy was progressing well, and it was their last chance. Then scans showed the baby was developing with no higher brain, only enough lower brain, or lizard brain, to keep the body's basic functions going. They got to work developing a wireless interface that could be implanted, connecting what there was of the brain to a computer cluster running the latest learning system software. With a little careful adjustment, customized teaching strategies, and continuous hardware upgrades, the baby grew into an almost normal girl, though with a bit of a strange personality and a penchant for image recognition games. In the dream I was trying to empathetically explain to her, after she'd been bullied, why some people are mean to those who are different.
