People discussing this sort of AI stuff tend to go for, in this case, "All the stamps eventually, no matter the cost". There's that one clicker game that's a relatively good example of how that would work, Universal Paperclips, based on the most common example used which is a paperclip maker. (The game ends when you convert the entire visible universe into paperclips.)

 

I thought of that, but I think that depends on how you define "happiness". I may decide that the survival of the human race is more important than my personal happiness, but in effect that means that if I choose my own happiness over the survival of the human race it would make me very unhappy.

 

I'm going to try picking up other languages by reading translations of books and stories I already know. I found "Guts" in Spanish, and it didn't make me faint in any language, but I can still follow along with it.

I've noticed a strong running theme in my writing of names being extremely important. The one I'm doing in an abuse survivors' support group has the participants' real names being classified, and when I want a character to offend another getting their name wrong is one of the first things I think of. Is this a dysphoria thing, a cultural thing, or just the fact that no one can spell my real name right?

I think I misunderstood how dumbbell size labelling works and got ones twice as big as I should have because they were marked "2 x 5kg" and I thought that meant a pair of 5kg ones. Still, I can do short sets with the ones I got and I did want ones which would help me build strength.
