Hmm.... I’ll think on this. Phoebe in Wonderland is the first thing that comes to mind, though it is explicitly about a child with an undiagnosed developmental disorder. I didn’t personally find it depressing so much as understanding and affirming. It is heavy at times and did make me cry buckets, but it’s also vivid, imaginative, and kind to Phoebe and her family who are trying their best but feel scared and confused. I found it cathartic, and it left me hopeful and inspired. It’s also visually pleasing.

The movie contains potentially life threatening self harm connected to intrusive thoughts and compulsion. I don’t remember there being any graphic injury, but there is an instance of nongraphic serious injury with full recovery.

While I did hear back when that lawsuit was first being boggled at that the author was saying she invented het A/B/O, somehow I didn't realize she actually said it in those words.

My favorite thing about the face jam podcast is the audio guy laughing his ass off in the background.

Some guys who run BDSM blogs are extremely witty and insightful in between all the naked pics.

SOMEDAY I WILL OWN THIS. also the rest of this dude's art is my entire aesthetic and I love it.

I'm too big to fit a lot of the clothes I like. Would it be worth buying two skirts, cutting them both at the seams, and sewing them together to make one big one, or would that just turn out looking weird?

Depending on the cut of the skirt, it might work? But it would sit differently because its now got like, 4 seams instead of 2. And idk enough about sewing to understand if the waistband would be good

At that point sewing your own skirt might be easier? Unsure

I would say unless the fabric is something you can't replicate, or the garment is something unstructured like a circle skirt, don't bother. Skirts have a tailored cut and won't fit together in the way you expect, especially if they're darted or panel structured -- it's really not as simple as adding a little more to the width; the entire fit will change in unexpected ways.

Uggh, looks like I'm both learning to sew from scratch and combing for goth stuff that comes plus-size then.

Some skirt styles are honestly not that tricky to make, and indeed are often good beginner projects. It definitely takes practice but I’m confident you can get it down!

My nan is great at sewing but she's not in my quarantine bubble. I'll have to talk to her about Skype lessons, perhaps.

Probably for the best. It's hard to find pastel goth stuff without an excess of dysphoria-inducing pink. Blue comes in pastel too, geez, sellers!

    Hell yeah learning

Also i offer this site, however it is US based. Not solely pastel goth but some options and, if theyre similar to my circle skirt, comfy as hell with inclusive sizing

A couple of those contain cartoony gore, both on the first page I think

(Eta: also here with a few non pink ones, idk the exact aesthetic goal tho)
