So was anyone else familiar with the theory that Chuck Tingle is Andrew Hussie?

Incredible, some of those unexpected connections and thematic parallels are at least convincing enough for me to keep that in mind.

 

Kiwifarms collected a bunch of other evidence suggesting Tingle is either Hussie or one of the WP crew, but I don't know how reliable such info actually is because KF is awful.

 

People who have actually met Chuck Tingle say he's not Andrew Hussie, and I'm inclined to believe them.

 

I'd be pretty comfortable dismissing the idea even without eyewitness evidence because all of Hussie's work has been defined by a deeply entrenched sense of self-conscious irony and trolling at the expense of the audience, while Chuck Tingle's work and persona is, while working from the weirdest premises ever, marked by a surprising degree of sincerity. I just cannot see Andrew Hussie ever making "love is real" his personal slogan with absolutely nothing sarcastic or sardonic conveyed and no mockery of the idea of saying that and meaning it, even if he had somehow managed to hide his trademark polysyllabic thesaurus-thumping all this time. Hussie would absolutely write satirical novelty Bigfoot porn, but he would not have gone this long doing it without turning the joke back on his audience somehow.

 

And that's convincing enough for me to keep it only in the theories pile.

After losing my phone on Saturday, I managed to get it back! ahhhhh it's been a stressful three days

 

Need info on pet friendly domestic violence shelters in Australia. Womens preferably, but I'm open to any atm as long as they'd let my friend keep her two emotional support cats or there's ways for her to escape and make sure her pets are safe and taken care of as well where she can visit them. Her marriage problems escalated quickly in a scary way

People have. I've at least heard him speak. He has a very distinct way of speaking. Voice changers exist but it doesn't sound like Hussie.

If he's really Andrew Hussie it's one hell of a long con. Chuck seems to be mostly what he claims to be, though he also seems to have rather severe schizophrenia on top of autism. His son did an AMA (though, admittedly, there is no proof of his identity other than Chuck)

I don't understand why people are spending money on Genshin Impact. Why spend your time or money trying to get a new character when you could be hunting for ingredients and cooking? (I just love any rpg that let's you make healing items and stuff, I'm just really into crafting. I will say I was excited about one of the characters I got later, because sometimes she gives you double the food items when you cook.)
