my computer's been poking me to make windows 11 happen and i refuse until it's been at least half a year and they worked out the worst kinks in the system

 

I vaguely recall hearing bad things, and have heard absolutely nothing good.

But, y'know, dread it, run from it, the update arrives all the same.

 

Wasn't feeling well so I asked if I could go home, but I feel guilty because we're so short staffed and there was no one to cover my shift.

 

Resting up and letting your body recover means less shifts to replace in the future cause you’ll feel better sooner! Also, if you’re sick, less coworkers catching it. Even though customer service likes to stab itself in the foot by not having enough workers, it really is better overall for you to have taken the time

 

Burka Avenger is a great show, but I kind of have to love how she cites knowledge of the laws of physics as a weapon in animesque battles which violate every single one of said laws on the regular.

 

Saw someone on twitter say Xiao's english voice makes them think of Karkat, and my immediate thought was "Does this make Yanfei Terezi?"

To anyone who watched Arthur: final season's hit, and we're finally gonna get to see what happened to DW's snowball. PBS is hinting aliens. They're currently doing a marathon of every episode and you can watch on the PBS app for free

Ferrets really don't enjoy having their nails clipped. Poor critters, still gotta do it.

 

My cats don't enjoy it either, I have to have the vet do it, otherwise I might not come out of it alive :P

Sometimes our pets don't seem to know what's best for them XD

 

parents cat used to hate it at the start, but eventually just kinda resigned herself to it, I think. went from 'needs the full burrito' to 'sits on the windowsill looking sad as mum lifts her pawsies'

Was reminded today of a scene in a webcomic where the main character has a date and her father takes him into the basement where he stores his firearm collection and gives him a speech about how a gun is like a relationship. What's weird about it is that I'm pretty sure the reader is not intended by the author to interpret that as a threat.

 

“Son, a relationship is like a gun. You hold onto it, you use it to threaten other people, the NRA is there…”

 

Centaurworld has such great music. I've just been listening to Taurnado on repeat for an hour.

 

I memorized nowhere king and what you need within like a day of binging the show, heckin slaps.

Also both seasons had an episode/piece that made me unexpectedly sob uncontrollably, which I don't do thaaat often so.. they did something right
