Started going to autism support group. One of the guys there told an anecdote about how, on Valentines' Day, someone anonymously sent him a paperback copy of this book. I'm not sure what could be a better "I hate you" message.

Please behold the extremely worn but Lorge piece of hildoceras ammonite I found when I went to Whitby at the start of the year. Seriously, it's like a damn dinner roll. The entire shell must have been like a damn steering wheel. I know it's nowhere near as impressive as the truck-tire ammonites you see in museums and the like, but it's the biggest specimen in my personal collection and I love him dammit.



Bonus fact: Hildoceras was named for a local Saint, St Hilda, who supposedly yote/smote all the serpents from the surrounding area off the cliffs and rendered them these weird curled-up stones that people used to carve funny snake heads onto and sell to pilgrims.

Ugh internet bill went up and I'm not paying $90 a month for a service that cuts out all the time. Trying to cancel Xfinity and switch to Optimum. Wish me luck lol

Edit: Successfully canceled internet but now Optimum is telling me it's not available in my town. Fios is a no go also.

Edit 2: Trying to sign up for verizon.

 

So I've had a library book laying under my bed for 2 years without knowing. I would never have found out if I didn't have to go to the library to make copies of stuff and decided to check out some poetry books.
