Oh yeah, I do that for them too, but since Jet has a tendency to brute-force his way into any box identified as Containing Snackies - not to mention his joy at being an organic paper shredder lol - it makes a helluva mess and is therefore reserved for days when I can spare the spoons for both set up and clean up XD

EDIT: I'm also exasperated for myself and flattered on his behalf at the implication that this chaos gremlin has parrot-level intelligence lol, I wouldn't put it past him.

I'm disappointed the ero-guro crowd hasn't come up with death anything-but-metal music. I want gory lyrics where you can actually hear what they are.

  4. 1) you do know death metal's distinction as a subgenre is tonal distortion and not lyrical content, right, plenty of more melodic metal has what you're looking for
    2) if you're not into any metal whatsoever, try these and see if related searches send you closer to what you want?

in a similar vein as the Caravan of Thieves one, there's a Kesha song as well:

or if you wanna go for what's a classic that goes in that direction, the Masochism Tango is right there

I already know lots of those songs, I mean, like, a dedicated Cannibal Corpse-style artist who does nothing but gory songs, or at least a high percentage of them.

I've got quite a lot of painting done recently. It's been nice.

that always seems to be how it goes! feast or famine. When I got my first animation job, it was after 6 months of trying and then I suddenly had a second potential offer like a week after accepting the first offer

It's getting increasingly hard to function around my parents. Not even in big clashy ways, but like... so many little things that rub my fur the wrong way until I want to hide.

At least I'll get a break when I visit youngest sib in March.

    Here's the codes: ZB-FIYJUHDQ
I think that's supposed to be a zero before the x, if it doesn't work I'll take a pic of the qr codes and you can try it that way.

started listening to Homestuck Made This World at work. it's interesting, but I think the way these guys approach media is fundamentally a little bit abrasive to me. neither of them have any interest in worldbuilding - it seems they both find it a slog that you sit through to get to the interesting bits :( I'll still finish listening, though. it's an interesting new perspective.

also is Hussie using they/them these days? bc that's what the hosts keep using for them.

The way I paint with acrylics (and digital, although a lot less often there) feels like sculpting with color??

I've got much pickier about my standards for reading material over the years. I think it ought to be mandatory for every book to be made available for digital or physical borrowing before purchase, either for a small fee or as part of subscription services (so the authors still get paid).
