I was just gonna pasta a cicada range map in here but it's way more complicated than I thought

Emerging this year is Brood VI, in a small area in a handful of southern states

New larping dress. Total cost of the entire piece, including corset and petticoat, is around $200

most expensive piece was the corset. i bought it retail and, on sale, it was $140. Cheapest piece was the petticoat. I bought it on wish for $4. The skirt clocks in at a cool $75 plus another $25 of fabric and dye I wasn't able to use because rit hates me, and 20 hours of work.

Never again.

Oh my god.

I was playing an online game where you can't actually chat, but there's pre-scripted stuff you can say. My laptop is, for some reason, lagging.

Because of the lag, instead of congratulating one player on a great bit of luck, my click registered on threatening another player. So everyone else ganged up on me.

Why, computer.

 

why the hell would something like that be a pre-scripted option?

 

Well, PVP is involved in the game. I could see someone going "Watch your back" after they were killed, for example. Unfortunately that was very much not the case.

 

Back in December, someone on this forum was talking about how you could become an ordained minister through the Universal Life Church, no questions asked. I no longer remember who, but I want to give them a shout-out and huge thanks, because I did it for a gender neutral title but now in a couple months I'll be officiating the marriage of my best friend of over a decade. It's saving her some huge headache, because her parents are Catholic but she doesn't want a priest performing it, and now her mom can't say shit because she loves me.
