an actually slightly awful compulsion i have developed: when previewing offspring between 2 dergs with disparate gene rarities, a goblin in my ear whispers 'hold your breath until a baby with [rare gene] appears' ..... this is not a fun game but i keep doing it anyway.

i used to do something similar during car rides when i was a kid.... hold ur breath between streetlights. hold ur breath until u see a license plate with double letters or numbers. hold ur breath until the traffic light turns green. BRAINS AM I RIGHT ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
